The consumption of daily necessities, household upgrading goods, and tourism services grew rapidly, and the consumption growth of the provinces with large migrant workers was relatively high。
Consumption of daily necessities maintained steady growth。During the Spring Festival holiday, the sales revenue of basic living commodities such as grain, oil and food increased by 31.5% year-on-year, among which, fruits and vegetables, meat, poultry, eggs and milk increased by 39% and 28.6% year-on-year, respectively, an annual increase of 17.2% and 13.2% over the Spring Festival holiday in 2019。There was strong demand for drinks and beverages, and the sales revenue of wine, beverages and tea increased by 18.7% year-on-year, an average annual increase of 16.4% over the Spring Festival holiday in 2019。
The consumption of household upgrading goods grew rapidly。During the Spring Festival holiday, the sales revenue of furniture, hardware and sporting goods increased by 15.2%, 8.6% and 20.9%, respectively, which was an annual increase of 9.9%, 19.4% and 17% over the Spring Festival holiday in 2019。
The recovery of tourism and accommodation services was accelerated。During the Spring Festival holiday, the sales revenue of travel agencies and related service industries increased by 1.3 times year-on-year, which has recovered to 80.7% of the Spring Festival holiday in 2019。The sales revenue of tourist hotels and economy chain hotels increased by 16.4% and 30.6%, respectively, recovering to 73.4% and 79.9% of the Spring Festival holiday in 2019。Homestay services, which provide personalized services, are popular with tourists, with sales revenue growing 74.2% year-on-year, an average annual increase of 13.3% over the 2019 Spring Festival holiday。
